CHANT 57. SINGLE.
[Ps. xix.] 1. The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament showeth the work of his hands. 2. Day unto day | uttereth speech,
And night unto | night declareth knowledge. 3. No speech | and no language,
Their | voice is not heard. 4. Their sound is gone out into | all the earth,
And their / words to the end of the world. 5. He hath set a tabernacle in them for the sun,
1 Which, as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
Rejoiceth as a strong | man to run a race.
1 And his circuit unto the ends of it;
[Is. xlii. 10.) 1. Sing a new song to JEHOVAH,
His | praise from the end of the earth, 2. Ye that go down to the sea, and its fulness,
The isles and the in|habitants thereof. 3. Let the wilderness and its cities lift | up the voice;
The villages that | Kedar doth inhabit. 4. Let the inhabitants of the rock | sing aloud;
Let them | shout from the top of the mountain. 5. Let them give glory | to JEHOVAH,
And declare his praise in the islands.

[Ps. cxi.] Praise ye Jan. 1. I will praise Jehovah with all the heart,
In the assembly of the up right, and the congregation. 2. The works of JE HOVAH are great,
Sought out by all that have pleasure therein.
And his righteousness | doth endure forever.
Jehovah is | gracious and full of compassion.

SELECTION 158 [Ps. cxi. 6.] 1. I will praise JEHOVAH with all the heart,
In the assembly of the up right, and the congregation. 2. He hath showed his people the power of his works,
That he may give them the | heritage of the nations. 3. The works of his hands are truth and judgment;
All | his commandments are sure. 4. They stand fast for ever and ever,
Done in | truth and in uprightness. 5. He sent redemption to his people :
He hath commanded his covenant forever :
Holy and reverend is his name.
A good understanding have all they that do these things:
(Ps. xcv.] 1. O come, let us | sing to JEHOVAH :
Let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation. 2. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving,
And make a joyful | noise to him with psalms. 3. For a great God | is JEHOVAH,
And a great | King above all gods. 4. In his hand are the depths of the earth :
And the heights of the hills are his. 5. The sea is his, and he made it :
And his hands did form the dry land. 6. O c
come, let us worship and bow down:
SELECTION 160. 1. O sing a new song to JEHOVAH;
For he hath done wonderful things: 2. His right hand and his | holy arm
Have gotten him the victory. 3. Jehovah hath made known his salvation : [the nations.
His righteousness hath he openly showed in the sight of 4. He hath remembered his mercy
And his truth | toward the house of Israel. 5. All the ends of the earth
Have seen the salvation of our God. 6. Make a joyful noise to JEHOVAH, | all the earth :
Make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
CHANT 60. SINGLE.
SELECTION 161. [Ps. cxviii. 19.] 1. Open to me the gates of righteousness :
I will go into them, | I will praise JEHOVAH. 2. This is the gate of JEHOVAH,
Into | which the righteous shall enter. 3. I will praise thee; for I thou hast heard me,
And hast be come my salvation. 4. The stone which the builders refused
Is become the head stone of the corner. 5. This is from JEHOVAH;
It is marvellous in our eyes. 6. O give thanks to Jehovah; for | he is good :
For his | mercy is forever.
SELECTION 162. [Ps. cxviii. 24.] 1. This is the day which JE|HOVAH hath made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it. 2. Save now, I beseech thee, | O JEHOVAH:
O JEHOVAH, I beseech thee, send thou now prosperity. 3. Blessed be he that cometh in the name of JEHOVAH :
We have blessed you out of the house of JEHOVAH. 4. God is JEHOVAH, who hath | showed us light:
Bind the sacrifice with | cords, to the horns of the altar. 5. Thou art my God, and I will praise thee:
My | God, I will exalt thee. 6. O give thanks to Jehovah; for he is good : For his | mercy is forever.
CHANT 61. SINGLE.
[Ps. cxlv.] 1. I will extol thee, my God, O King;
And I will bless thy | name forever and ever. 2. Every day will I bless thee;
And I will praise thy | name forever and ever. 3. Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised;
And his / greatness is unsearchable. 4. Generation to generation shall | praise thy works,
And shall de clare thy mighty acts. 5. I will speak of the glorious honor of thy majesty,
And of thy wondrous works. 6. And men shall speak of the might of thy | terrible acts :
And I will declare thy greatness. 7. The memory of thy great goodness shall | they proclaim; And shall | sing aloud of thy righteousness. SELECTION 164.
[Ps. xxiv.] 1. The earth is JEHOVAH's, and the fulness thereof;
The world, and they that dwell therein. 2. For he hath founded it up on the seas,
And established | it upon the floods. 3. Who shall ascend into the mount of Jehovah ?
Or who shall stand in his holy place? 4. He that is clean of hands, and pure in heart;
[ceitfully. Who hath not lifted up his soul to vanity, | nor hath sworn de5. He shall receive blessing | from Jehovah,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6. This is the generation of them that seek him, That seek thy face, O Jacob.
