SELECTION 248. 1. Rejoice not against me, | O mine enemy!

When I fall, I shall arise ; 2. When I sit in darkness,

JEHOVAH shall be a | light to me. 3. I will bear the indignation of JEHOVAH,

Because I have | sinned against him, 4. Until he plead my cause,

And execute | judgment for me : 5. He will bring me | forth to the light,

And I shall be hold his righteousness. 6. Feed thy people with thy rod, The flock of | thine inheritance.

SELECTION 249. 1. And the remnant of | Jacob shall be

In the midst of many people, 2. As a dew | from JEHOVAH,

As the showers up on the grass, 3. That tarrieth | not for man,

Nor waiteth for the | sons of men. 4. And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations,

As a young lion among the flocks of sheep: 6. Who, if he go through, both | treadeth down,

And my spirit made diligent search. 3. Will the Lord cast | off for ever?

SELECTION 252. 1. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart,

That there is no fear of God before his eyes. 2. For he flattereth himself in his own eyes,

Until his iniquity | be found to be hateful. 3. The words of his mouth are iniquity, and deceit:

He hath left off to be wise, and to do good. 4. He deviseth mischief up on his bed ;

He setteth himself in a way not good; he abhorreth 5. O continue thy kindness unto them that know thee;

And thy righteousness to the upright in heart! 6. Let not the foot of pride | come against me,

And let not the hand of the wicked remove me. 7. There are the workers of inliquity fallen! They are cast down, and shall not be able to rise !

SELECTION 253. 1. Thy mercy, O JEHOVAH! is in the heavens;

Thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. 2. Thy righteousness is like the mountains of GOD; "Thy judgments are a great deep:

O JEHOVAH! thou pre servest man and beast. 3. How excellent is thy | kindness, O GOD!

The sons of men put their trust under the shadow of 4. They shall be a bundantly satisfied

With the | fatness of thy house ; 5. And thou shalt | make them drink

of the river of thy pleasures. 6. For with thee is the ) fountain of life:

In thy | light shall we see light.

SELECTION 254. [Ps. cxv. 12.] 1. JEHOVAH hath been mindful of us : he will bless us ;

Who made heaven and earth.

SELECTION 255. [Ps. cxvi. 3.] 1. The sorrows of death en compassed me,

3. Gracious is Je|HOVAH, and righteous ;

Yea, | our God is merciful.

I was brought low, and he helped me.
5. Return unto thy rest, | O my soul!
