1. Many, O JEHOVAH MY GOD!

Are thy wonderful | works which thou hast done; 2. And thy thoughts which | are toward us:

They cannot be reckoned up in order to thee. 3. If I would declare and speak of them,

They are more than can be numbered.

4. Sacrifice and offering thou didst | not desire; 'Mine ears hast thou opened:

Burnt offering and sin offering | hast thou not required.

5. Then said I, [ Lo, I come!

In the volume of the book it is written of me,

6. I delight to do thy will, | O my God!

Yea, thy law is within my heart.

1. I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: I have not refrained my lips, | O JEHOVAH thou knowest. 2. I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation.

3. I have not concealed thy kindness

And thy truth from the great congregation.

4. Withhold not thou thy mercies from me, | O JEHOVAH! Let thy kindness and thy truth continually preserve me. 5. For innumerable evils have compassed | me about; 'Mine iniquities have taken | hold upon me,

So that I am not able to look up.

6. They are more than the hairs of mine head; Therefore my heart forsaketh me.

1. O fear JEHOVAH, | ye his saints!

For there is no | want to them that fear him.

2. The young lions do lack, and | suffer hunger :

But they that seek JEHOVAH shall not want any good. 3. Come, ye children, hearken | unto me!

I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.

4. What man desireth life,

And loveth | days, that he may see good?

5. Keep thy tongue from evil,

And thy lips from speaking guile. 6. Depart from evil, | and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it.

1. The steps of a good man are ordered | by JEHOVAH, And he delighteth in his way.

Nor his seed begging bread.

4. He is ever merciful, and lendeth ;
And his seed is blessed.

5. Depart from evil, | and do good; And dwell forevermore.

5. And he shall not judge | after the sight of his eyes, Neither reprove after the hearing of his ears;

6. But with righteousness | shall he judge the poor,

And reprove with equity | for the meek of the earth: 7. And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, And with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. 8. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, And faithfulness the | girdle of his reins.

Or, being his counsellor, hath taught him?

4. With whom took He counsel, and | who instructed him, And taught him | in the path of judgment,

5. And taught | knowledge unto him,

And showed to him the way of understanding?

6. Behold! the nations are | as a drop of a bucket,
1And are counted as the small dust of the balance :
Behold! he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

7. And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn,

Nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.

8. All nations before him are as nothing;

And they are counted to him | less than nothing, and vanity.

1. But thou hast not | called upon me, O Jacob! But thou hast been | weary of me, O Israel!

Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
2. Behold! thy King | cometh unto thee!
He is just, and having salvation ;-

And upon a colt, the foal of an ass. 4. And I will cut | off the chariot from Ephraim, And the horse from Jerusalem,

5. And the battle | bow shall be cut off:
