The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her...11.

Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity.-Eccl. ix. 9.

Take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.-Mal. ii. 15.

A GOOD MAN.

Enoch walked with God... Gen. v. 24.

Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.-Gen. vi. 9.

Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.-22.

And the Lord said unto Noah,...thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.-Gen. vii. 1. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph,...there is none so discreet and wise as thou art.-Gen. xli. 39.

Behold now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honourable man...1 Sam. ix. 6.

And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him.-1 Sam. xviii. 14.

Then Achish called David, and said unto him, Surely, as the Lord liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host is good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day...1 Sam. xxix. 6.

A good man shall be satisfied from himself.Prov. xiv. 14.

When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.-Prov. xvi. 7.

He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;-Isa. xxxiii. 15.

He shall dwell on high...16.

Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him ;... Dan. vi. 3.

Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.-Dan. vi. 4.

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.-5.

Then these men...found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.-11.

...No manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.-23.
