ACTIVITY AND DILIGENCE. 1. Activity and diligence required and encouraged — inactivity reproved. Gen. 3: 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, will thou return unto the ground.

Ex. 20: 9 Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work.
